ഇന്നെലെയാണു ഞാന്‍ ഈ സിനിമ കണ്ടത്‌. ഡൊണ്‍ലോഡ്‌ ചെയ്തിട്ടു കുറച്ചേറെ നാളുകളായെങ്കിലും ഇപ്പോഴാണു സമയം കിട്ടിയതെന്നു വേണമെങ്കില്‍ പറയാം.
എനിക്കിത്‌ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു. വളരെ നല്ലത്‌ , ഉദ്വേഗജനകം എന്നൊന്നും പറയാനാവില്ല. കണ്ടിരിക്കാം...thrill സൂക്ഷിക്കുന്നുവെന്നിരിക്കിലും ചിലയിടങ്ങളില്‍ അല്‍പ്പം commercialism പ്രകടമാണ്‌. കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളും അനുരൂപരായ നടീനടന്മാരും ചിത്രീകരണരീതിയും നിലവാരം പുലര്‍ത്തുന്നു. പക്ഷെ, ഞാന്‍ കണ്ട പ്രധാന ന്യൂനത നാളിതു വരെ മനസ്സില്‍ വച്ചാരാധിച്ച ഹോംസിന്റെ (റോബര്‍ട്ട്‌ ദ്രോവ്നി ju.) ഭാവ,വാഹാദികള്‍ കണ്ടെത്താനായില്ല എന്നതാണ്‌. ഒരു തരം കോമിക്‌ ക്യാരക്ടര്‍! നോവലിലെയോ ഇതു വരെ വായിച്ചറിഞ്ഞ പോലെയോ ഉള്ള ഹോംസിന്റെ ഗൗരവമോ, ധാര്‍ഷ്ട്യമോ തീരെയില്ല. ഡോ.വാട്സന്‍ (ജൂഡ് ലോ) കൊള്ളാം..പക്ഷെ, ഹോംസിനു മേല്‍ ആവശ്യത്തിലുമേറെ സ്വാധീനം കാണിച്ചുവോ എന്നു സംശയം! ..എനിക്കേറെ ഇഷ്ടമായത്‌ Dr.Blackwood (മാര്‍ക്ക്‌ സ്ട്രോങ്ങ്‌) ആണ്‌;നല്ല വില്ലന്‍!!
ഹോംസ് സീരിസിലെ സ്ഥിരം വില്ലനും ഹോസിന്റെ ആജന്മശത്രുവുമായ പ്രൊ.മൊറിയാര്‍ട്ടിയും പ്രതിപാദിക്കപ്പെടുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിലും നാമമാത്രമായി മാത്രം! അടുത്ത ഭാഗം ഉറപ്പ്‌!!
റ്റൈറ്റില്‍ സ്റ്റെയിലും വളരെ നന്നായി....ഒരു ബുക്ക്‌ വായിച്ചു തീരുന്ന ഫീലിംങ്ങ്‌ തന്നു....

Spot on on the Characterisation part. Though Guy Ritche has tried to get a mix of Holmes & Bond in the lead.
